The Game
2009 challenge is called “Lunacy” and his goal is to score special balls to baskets moved by the opponent’s robot.
The balls can be scored by robot or by human player. when the robot provides him the balls.
There are three type of balls that worth different amount of points and color, that is used for the robot to identity the balls by a special camera or sensor.
The competition was taking place in a special game field called “The Crater”.
The field floor made with a special material simulates surface of the moon.
Because of the special conditions the robot slipped and tackle other robots oftenly and the teams need to consider that while building the robot.
The connect to the moon theme was because at the same year mentioned 40 years to “Apolo11” landed on the moon.

- Israel Regional Competition - ranked 1st at the qualification games and losing at the playoff half final.
Awards:
- Industrial design Award - giving by the judges for a machine that effectively addresses the game challenge.
